About Dr. Edelson
Dr. David Edelson is the founder and medical director of HealthBridge. An Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and an Associate Attending of Medicine at North Shore-LIJ Medical Center, he is widely recognized as one of the nation’s top weight loss experts. Dr. Edelson was one of the first physicians in the NY Metro area to adopt the use of Bioidentical hormones in his practice, with over 12 years of experience. Dr. Edelson is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Bariatric Medicine, and is a two-time recipient of the Faculty Teaching Award at LIJ Medical Center.
Dr. Deborah Blenner is a graduate of the University of North Carolina residency program in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She served as director of a medical clinic providing free services in an under-served section of Queens for several years before joining the team at HealthBridge. She is an Associate Attending of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, as well as an Associate Attending of Medicine at St. Francis Hospital. She was a featured presenter at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Obesity Symposium.
